Öland, Sweden
Yesterday I came across the images that I took in Sweden last August and then thought I might as well show you some of them. The ones that you see here were all taken on the Baltic island of Öland. Liked it there very much – and the people were quite friendly and relaxed.

Nutria Waiting
A nutria (Myocastor coypus) waits for food in Bad Vilbel, just outside Frankfurt, Feb.18, where it lives with other family members around the moat of the town’s ancient castle ruin. These animals are originally native to South America, but have been introduced to Europe and other parts of the world, mainly by fur ranchers.
