
A view from Feldberg mountain to the northwest over the Taunus hills that emerge from fog that covers the valleys below, including nearby Frankfurt. Getting up the 890-meter-high (2919ft) Feldberg is just a half-hour drive from where I live in Frankfurt’s Bornheim district, escaping the dull and gray weather down here today.
