Although weather was really bad this year the ” Thäler Kerb” is considered one of the nicest festivals in the region.

Thistle Stadium
Thistles grow on the grandstand of the Boellenfalltor soccer stadium in Darmstadt, south of Frankfurt, July 10. Despite the stadium’s run-down state the local soccer club Darmstadt 98 made it into Germany’s second league, or 2. Bundesliga. Renovation of the old arena is now mandatory for obtaining a licence from the German soccer federation.
