Last week while being in Berlin I had an hour or so to kill before my train went back to Frankfurt and so I took a walk around the railway station and the nearby parliament building.

Esch – European Capital of Culture
Yesterday, I went to Esch-sur-Alzette, a city of 36.000 inhabitants in Luxembourg, that along with Kaunas and Novi Sad is one of the three Capitals of European Culture 2022. Sadly, it was a very gray and dull day. On the other hand, in a way it fit pretty well with this industrial steel and mining town that underwent a severe structural change in the past decades.
