Staedel Museum Celebrates

A tuba player of the HR Symphonieorchster (Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra) gets ready for playing in front of Gerhard Richter’s 1967 painting named “Großer Vorhang” (Big Curtain) during a ceremony marking the 200th anniversary of Frankfurt’s renowned Staedel museum, March 15. A grand public celebration was held with a diverse program and free admission for everyone. -

Frankfurt’s Paraguayan player Nelson Valdez jubilates after scoring the 4-0 in a German first division soccer match Eintracht Frankfurt vs SC Paderborn 07, Mar. 14, only minutes after making his return following a six-month injury absence. He of course received the yellow card for taking his shirt off in celebration – undressing is not allowed during the match, although highly recomended afterwards. -
