Found on the Road
A little hegdehog that we found today roaming a street at daytime in Frankfurt, Oct. 17. We later brought it to the animal shelter.

Box Tree Moth
A Box Tree Moth (Glyphodes perspectalis) that somehow made its way into my bathtub (no water in it, though), Sep.9. This animal is native to eastern Asia and was first recorded from Germany some six years ago. Box Tree caterpillars have apparently been wreaking havoc across Europe since. They can completely defoliate box plants.

Spider over the City
A spider waits for prey in its web, built between the railing of a bridge over river Main before nightfall Sep. 3, with the city’s skyline as a backdrop.

Parking Pandas
Little sculptures of pandas on Frankfurt’s Opera Square, Sep.2, during a campain by nature conservation organization WWF. A total of 1,600 papier-mache pandas were on display, the equivalent of the small number of giant pandas still living in the wild.
