A small cloud behind the huge statue of Hautacuperche on the beach of Valle Gran Rey on La Gomera, Canary Islands, Spain, March 17. Frankfurt’s 116-meter university tower comes down in a blast, Feb.2. The tower was built in 1972 and demolished 42 years later using some 950 kilograms of explosives. It was one of the biggest such operations in Europe.
