The Red Dot (Home of Leica)
Last week, I was on a job in Wetzlar, a town some 60 kms (36 mls) north of Frankfurt, and happened to drive past the headquarters of Leica, Germany’s last camera manufacturer to speak of. I decided to stop and pay a short visit to their showroom, exhibition and museum.

Good Apple Crop this Year
An apple hangs on a tree in the afternoon sun at the public Lohrberg orchard in the north of Frankfurt, Oct. 12. This year’s apple crop yield is expected to be very good, at least in this part of the country.
