A walk around Frankfurt’s European Quarter or “Europaviertel”, a new housing and business quarter on the site of the city’s former central freight station. Its somewhat dull architecture has been disputed, though.

Frankfurt’s Christmas Market

Frankfurt’s christmas market is open again and running until Dec.22. It is one of the largest Christmas markets in all of Germany and considered one of the most beautiful. It draws some 3 million visitors every year. Especially on weekends I’d rather avoid it.
