Three people in a canoe on Lahn river near Weilburg, some 65 kms (40 mls) north of Frankfurt, Aug.25. According to a local tourism board ‘a canoe trip on the Lahn River is one of the most relaxing ways to enjoy the Mittelhessen [the central part of the federal state of Hesse] countryside’ which is probably true.
