Laurel trees inside the Garajonay National Park on La Gomera, Canaray Isands, Spain, March 20. The forest is one of the largest continuous areas of laurel forests in Europe. It was recognized as World Heritage by the Unesco.

Cloud Offering
A small cloud behind the huge statue of Hautacuperche on the beach of Valle Gran Rey on La Gomera, Canary Islands, Spain, March 17. Hautacuperche led the “Rebellion of the Gomeros” by the local population against the Spanish occupation of the island in 1488 that eventuallay failed. The statue was erected in 2007.
