Lights are still on in many offices at Frankfurt’s financial district, Jan.29. I have no idea if people are still working this late, pretend to be working or if they just forgot to switch off the lights.

The bronze statue of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe with its laurel wreath at Goethe square in Frankfurt, Jan.28. The German writer, poet, polymath, etc. was born in Frankfurt in 1749. The Goethe House and the Goethe Museum can be visited on the site of his birthplace.
