A Dark Exhibition
Visitors at an exhibition by Martin Parr and Wassink Lundgren named “The Chinese Photobook” as part of the annual Recontres d’Arles photo festival in Arles, southern France, July 15. Rooms in an office block were dimly lit in red light. Visitors were given torches to view hundreds of photobooks on display. -
Colorful Castle

Old lightbulbs filled with water hang from the ceiling of a building at Frankfurt’s Palmengarten botanical garden, March 31, as part of the annual Luminale light festival. The installation by Vinicius Silva de Almeida of Brazil is named ‘Lágrimas de São Pedro’ (The Tears of Saint Peter).
