Moon behind Cliff
The waning moon shines behind the Eschbacher cliff in the Taunus mountains near Frankfurt, at daybreak, Jan.27. The 12-meter high quartz cliff defies weathering and juts out of the landscape.

Last week, I was on a job in Wetzlar, a town some 60 kms (36 mls) north of Frankfurt, and happened to drive past the headquarters of Leica, Germany’s last camera manufacturer to speak of. I decided to stop and pay a short visit to their showroom, exhibition and museum.
(Photos taken with a Canon 5dIII and Canon 14mm, 24mm lenses and a Sigma 50mm Art though.
