Erfurt with a touch of Color
Last Tuesday (Mar.22) a job took me to Erfurt, the captital of the federal state of Thuringia. On that very dull and gray day it seemed to be a city with just a touch of color.
Reality enhanced

Öland, Sweden
Yesterday I came across the images that I took in Sweden last August and then thought I might as well show you some of them. The ones that you see here were all taken on the Baltic island of Öland. Liked it there very much – and the people were quite friendly and relaxed.

Vasa Museum
A view of the Vasa (or Wasa) Museum in Stockholm, Aug.24. The Vasa, a Swedish warship, sank in 1628 after sailing just 1,300 meters (1,400 yd) during her maiden voyage. She was salvaged in 1961 with the wooden hull still mainly intact and was sprayed with polyethylene glycol for 17 years… A museum was later built around the reconstructed ship that became one of Sweden’s most popular tourist attractions.
