No, there was no elephant in front of my house today (Aug.6), just someone using the fire hydrant for watering the trees, as it has been quite hot and dry for quite a while now.

Biologist Marion Ebel rests together with artic wolfverine Ayla at a wildlife park in Hanau, east of Frankfurt, Aug.3. Ayla was badly injured at the neck in territorial fights with fellow wolves inside their enclosure a couple of days ago. Her brother (named Scott) is still in critical condition.
