A Reflection
Bridges become visible through the windows of a cafe on the banks of Main river (which is one of my favourite spots, by the way), Jan. 14, while the city’s skyline with its office buildings is reflected. -
Hot Springs
Two women stand beside the sulfuric vapor of the Kochbrunnen fountain in downtown Wiesbaden, a city some 40 kms (24 mls) west of Frankfurt and capital of the federal state of Hessen. The spa town of Wiesbaden (translating into “meadow baths”) was practically built upon dozens of thermal springs that were already known to the Romans. It is said that they even built recreation pools for Roman army horses here… -
The Creek and my Mobile
A small creek that flows through a wood at Friedrichsdorf near Frankfurt is lit by a smartphone shortly before nightfall, Jan.13.(Canon 5dIII, Voigtländer Skopar 3.5, 20mm, 13 sec, f 8, ISO100 – well, and the camera was lying in the mud and moved a bit…)
