Fair Tower

Fair Tower

Frankfurt’s Fair Tower (Messeturm), seen through the branches of a tree (and from my balcony :-)) at sunset, Nov.11. Between 1991 and 1997, the 256 meter-high (840 ft) tower was the highest office building in Europe, which now I believe is the Mercury City Tower in Moscow (338 meters, 1110 ft).

An interesting photograph! It almost looks like a fountain pen held up against the flames of revolution that it helped to inspire.
